Biography Anil Vullikanti is Senior Research Associate in the Network Dynamics and Simulation Science Laboratory at the Virginia Bioinformatics Institute, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Virginia Tech. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science in 1999 and was a postdoctoral associate at the Max-Planck Institute and at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he became a technical staff member in 2003. His current interests are at the interface of theoretical computer science and modeling and simulation of social and infrastructure systems, epidemiology, and mobile computing.
