BLACKSBURG, Jan. 18, 2006 – The Virginia Bioinformatics Institute (VBI) at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University has released its fourth annual report entitled "Innovation: Connecting to the future". The 2005 Annual Report describes the transdisciplinary research projects that are underway at the Institute, includes feature articles, highlights from the past fiscal year and also documents VBI’s growing educational and outreach activities.

A hardcopy of the report is available upon request from the Public Relations and Education and Outreach department.
