BLACKSBURG, Jan. 07, 2008 - The Virginia Bioinformatics Institute (VBI) at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University has released its sixth annual report. The annual report includes a special focus on team science and transdisciplinary research projects at VBI. Team science is a key part of the culture of VBI and enables the Institute to make significant contributions to the development of life science knowledge, technologies and useful products aimed at society's needs.
The 2007 Annual Report includes research feature articles, highlights from the past fiscal year as well as articles on technology development and outreach and engagement.
