2008 Annual Report

BLACKSBURG, Jan. 08, 2009 - The Virginia Bioinformatics Institute (VBI) at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University has released its seventh public relations annual report. The annual report includes a special focus on networks. The theme of networks is represented by feature articles on HARDY rice, artificial spectrum markets, pandemic influenza, and the inference of gene networks. In addition to feature stories, highlights from the past fiscal year and articles on technology development and education and outreach, the report also comprises VBI's recently defined mission, vision and values.

The 2008 Annual Report includes research feature articles, highlights from the past fiscal year as well as articles on technology development and outreach and engagement.
